A South African National, Mrs. Noxy Nkomonde is the Secretary General of Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs.
A Mechanical Engineer by profession Mrs. Nkomonde started her career in Falcon Engineering (Germiston) before moving on to several major companies that include Worley Parsons (SA) (Pretoria), Rula Bulk Materials Handling (Honeydew). Tenors Takraf (greenstone), Mrs. Nkomonde is currently a business development manager at Acwa power (Sandton).
Throughout her professional and personal development, Mrs. Nkomonde has served as President of the Aeronautical Society of the University of Johannesburg (AeSUJ) for the period 2007 to 2008. A member of the RAG (receive and give) committee in 2006. She is also a member of Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
With a strong passion for empowering and mentoring young women in different communities, in 2006 she launched her own foundation (Divine) where she helps sponsor and mentor a small group of girls from preparatory through to high school. Her commitment and interest in the development of young girls has made her focus her aid to a small community in Soweto, Johannesburg. She brings this commitment to Africa’s Young Entrepreneurs and has been instrumental in laying the platform to spreading humanitarian drive across Africa.
Mrs. Nkomonde studied at the University of Johannesburg South Africa, where she obtained honors both in bachelors and masters degrees.
